Terms & Conditions

Upon registering for Girls Rock Math, parents must agree to the following Terms:

Medical/Injury Waiver

  • I, the parent/guardian authorize Girls Rock Math staff to arrange emergency medical care for my child(ren) while at Girls Rock Math camp.   In the event of any emergency, I authorize Girls Rock Math Staff to secure from any licensed hospital, physician, and/or medical personnel, any treatment deemed necessary for my child's immediate care and agree that I will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services rendered.

  • I hereby release Girls Rock Math and its agents, owners and employees from any claims for accident, injury or loss of valuables that may arise out of, connected with or in any way associated with these programs/activities.

  • I hereby give permission to photograph/video my child and allow use of pictures in advertising or reports about Girls Rock Math.

  • I grant permission for my child(ren) to participate in all camp activities.  I agree that Girls Rock Math reserves the right to dismiss a child from camp whose conduct is not in the best interest of the camp community, without refund.  I further agree that the Girls Rock Math reserves the right to terminate the participation of my child in the program for failure to behave and act in accordance with the Girls Rock Math regulations on conduct, or for failure to follow the instructions and directions of the teachers or counselors, or for any acts of conduct deemed by the agents of Girls Rock Math to be detrimental to or incompatible with the interest, harmony, comfort or welfare of the program.

  • I understand that my camper(s) should not attend camp when ill or recently exposed to a contagious disease. Campers who arrive with fever, ringworm, pink eye, lice, or any other communicable disease will be asked to leave for at least 24 hours after symptoms resolve.  Fees are based on enrollment, not attendance.  If my child does not attend camp due to illness, or any other reason there is no refund for missed days.

  • I attest that the information I have provided when registering my child(ren) is true and correct.  I registered my child(ren) for camp(s) that aligns correctly with the grade they will enter in September 2020.  I understand that if I have registered my child for a camp that does not match her school grade level, without prior consent from the camp directors, we may be asked to leave the program without a refund.  Girls Rock Math is not liable for the outcome of camper's experience socially or academically who are enrolled in programs outside of their age/grade level.

  • I have fully disclosed any medical conditions, medications, learning disabilities or disorders. Campers who arrive at camp and have an undisclosed information that impacts the camp experience may be asked to leave the program.  Due to the nature of our program, full disclosure concerning the camper’s social, emotional, health and learning needs must be made in order to best serve all campers.  If full disclosure is not made in advance, and the camp staff cannot appropriately serve the needs of the camper, the Camp Director will require the parent(s)/guardian(s) pick up the camper immediately without refund.  I understand that if my child needs an aide at school, I have arranged for an aide to attend camp with my child. If my child gets support services in math at school, this has been disclosed on the application so that the camp staff can prepare to provide extra support for my child at camp.  This health history is correct and accurately reflects the status of the camper to whom it pertains.

Transfers and Cancellations

  • Full refunds, minus a $75 processing fee will be given through May 1 with written email notice of withdrawal from the program. No refunds are given after May 1.

  • Transfers between camps may occur up until July 1, providing there are openings in other sessions.  Before a transfer can be made, our system requires your balance to be paid in full at the time of transfer.

  • Girls Rock Math reserves the right to cancel any camp that does not meet minimum enrollment by April 20.  Campers enrolled in cancelled camps will receive a full refund.

Payment Options

  • Pay-in-Full until March 1, 2020 includes the Early Bird Discount

  • Deposit-only Payments do not include the Early Bird Discount.  The remaining balance will be collected in two additional payments on March 1, April 1, and May 1, 2019.  Insufficient Funds or Unpaid balances will result in withdrawal from the program.

I have read and fully understand the above important information, warning of risk, assumption of risk and waiver and release of all claims. Payment and registration for Girls Rock Math programs have the same legal effect as an original form signature. My signature acknowledges my release and waiver of any claim for damages from any such accident, injury or loss.
